Seven fatalities have now been confirmed, and several people are injured following a shooting at a synagogue in Jerusalem.
The perpetrator, who was identified as a 21-year-old male acting alone, was reportedly shot dead by Israel’s security forces at the scene.
The killings follow a raid carried out by Israeli troops in the West Bank on Thursday, in which 10 people died.
