The American talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who will present the Oscars for the fourth time in March, has threatened to sue American football player Aaron Rodgers for “reckless words” that he claims put his family in danger, reports RTE.
Rodgers had previously stated that Kimmel would be named in documents about over 170 people who were either friends, associates, or victims of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The documents are expected to be made public following a court ruling in December, and the people who are expected to be named have 14 days to appeal the judge’s decision, reports RTE.
As a result, the information is probably going to be revealed in early January.
Kimmel told his 11.4 million X followers: “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12,” reports RTE.
