It has been reported that a new role as special envoy for Ukraine awaits Boris Johnson once he leaves Downing Street.
He should use his close relationship with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and keep a place on the world stage with the diplomatic role.
The idea was proposed by former senior government advisers and is under scrutiny at the highest level, according to the Sun.
Johnson’s team, cabinet and senior Ukrainian officials are said to want him to remain in the spotlight and relevant to politics.

A second source told The Metro that the role would allow the Johnson to have an early and dignified exit from Number 10.
