The ‘Joker stairs’ appear set to become New York’s latest go-to area for movie aficionados.
The stairs in question, located on West 167th Street between Anderson and Shakespeare avenues in the Bronx, feature prominently when the movie’s protagonist, Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) dances on them to the tune of Gary Glitter’s tune ‘Rock and Roll Part 2’.
‘Joker’ is poised to become a smash hit at the box office. The movie broke the all-time October weekend opening record, taking in $96.2 million.
