A jury has recommended a life sentence for Nikolas Cruz, the perpetrator of the Parkland school shooting on Valentine’s Day in 2018.
Cruz, who was just 18 at the time, killed 17 people, 14 students and 3 staff members with a semi-automatic weapon.
He will likely spend the rest of his natural life in prison, without the possibility of parole.
