Park officials said an poacher believed to have been killed by a elephant was found dead in a South African national park.
A park spokesman said in a statement on Twitter that rangers in Kruger National Park discovered the body after following tracks in the Stolznek section of the Giant Game Reserve.
“Initial investigations suspect that the deceased was killed by an elephant and left behind by his accomplices,” the statement said.
There is general condemnation against poaching of elephants, especially for their tusks.
