21-year-old Alexander Pacteau, the self-confessed killer of Irish nurse Karen Buckley, is now behind bars inside HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow, reportedly one of Scotland’s toughest prison facilities. He is also segregated from other prisoners after receiving threats.
Prison staff have been forced to take protective measures due to fears for Pacteau’s safety. He eats and takes break separated from others.
Pacteau confessed to the savage killing of Karen Buckley, and now faces life in prison.
