Katherine Zappone has declined an invitation to sit before an Oireachtas Committee and be questioned over the disastrous ZapponeGate debacle.
Zappone, who now lives in the United States, has seen her name dragged through the mud over the past few weeks after she turned down a massive €109,000 envoy job that was allegedly offered to her from the Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney without much competiton.
Along with that, Zappone held a massive party in a plush Dublin hotel where Leo Varadkar attended.
Coveney was questioned by the Oireachtas Committee but it would appear that Zappone is staying put in her US hut.
