Sky News presenter Kay Burley was interviewed on last night’s Ray D’Arcy Show.
The big smiled, pretty woman is known to go hard in her interviews and has a 30-year career with Sky to prove it.
However she left her work head at home and was in very jovial form last night with an obvious genuine affection for Ireland, let’s face it – who doesn’t!
Perhaps the most interesting moment came when D’Arcy asked her about when she managed to nab an interview wuth arguably one of the most famous people in history now at this stage, President Donald Trump.
Still only a candidate at this stage, Kay said she met President Trump in the mid west of America and said she was very, very impressed with him.
She said he has an aura about him, charismatic and has a real presence to his character.
Kay now has her own four-day-a-week show on Sky News and was one of only six people in its original lineup. Quite a statement considering it’s grown to some 38,000 around the world.
