The weather outlook for this weekend will be a mixed bag as strong winds and persistent showers are expected throughout.
According to Met Éireann, today Friday will see heavy rain showers early on with winds coming in from the West, although these showers are expected to move further eastwards by mid afternoon, the national forecaster say there maybe the odd shower later in the evening.
Temperatures for Friday will range from 10-13C during the day, whilst they will drop to between 3-5C overnight.
Saturday will be a slightly warmer day with temperatures expected to reach 14C in some places, but heavy rainfall is expected in morning and it will last until the afternoon before eventually clearing for some sunny spells later in the evening.
Meanwhile Sunday will see much of the same, although further sunny spells are expected by late morning and they may last until the early part of the evening before heavy showers will once again come in from the West.
Temperatures on Sunday will range from 12-14C.
