Ireland’s Olympic Gold medalist Kellie Harrington has revealed that she has no intention of turning pro and wishes to remain an amateur fighter.
Speaking to RTE’s Late Late Show Harrington said that she has already received offers to turn professional but she just wants to remain an amateur with the Paris Olympics less than 3 years away.
Harrington told host Tubridy that although she’s been told she could earn a lot of money if she turned professional, that not everything is about money.
She added that she has a great team setup with team Ireland and is focused on having less stress and more success.
