A man from Kerry has been sentenced to prison after threatening to slice up a woman he met on Facebook. The 43-yr-oldmman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to making threats to kill or cause serious harm. The court heard that he had sent messages to the woman threatening to “slice her up” and “make her suffer”, reports Breaking News.

The man was sentenced to two years in prison, with one year suspended. He was also ordered to undergo anger management counselling and was placed under a restraining order.
