Kevin! Plane forced to return to airport after mother forgets her baby in departure lounge




A passenger airplane was forced return to the airport it took off from after a mother on board a legendary forgot to take her baby with her from the departure lounge.

Audio has been released that apparently shows the moment Saudi Flight SV832 from Jeddah to Kuala Lumpur requested that they can return to King Abdul Aziz International Airport immediately.

The captain can be heard saying “May God be with us, can we come back or what?”

Then the pilot and air traffic control talk about protocol as they’ve never experienced anything like this before.

The operator says: ‘This flight is requesting to come back…a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.’

 

The operator asked ‘can we have permission and confirmation for the reason that they want to go back to the airport.’

The pilot says ‘we told you already that a passenger left her baby in the terminal and refuses to continue the flight.’

‘Ok, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!’


Flight data shows that the plane Returned and took off an hour late on Saturday. You can listen to the transcript below:
