The actual house from the 1990 film Home Alone is available for rent on Airbnb during the Christmas season.
The vacation rental platform announced that the McCallister’s home in the Chicago area is available for rent for one night only on December 12th.
Up to four people can stay in the house for a single night for €22 with the house’s address provided after booking.
The Airbnb listing on the website shows that the stay is being arranged by Buzz McCallister, with the following description: “You may not remember me as particularly accommodating but I’ve grown up, and I’d be happy to share my family home – my pizza, even – with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time.”
According to Airbnb, guests will enjoy a fully furnished home, the ability to set traps, a real tarantula, a preview of the latest in the Home Sweet Home Alone series, a pizza and a pizza during their stay and a candlelit dinner with a microwave mac and cheese.
