A Kilkenny primary school had to be evacuated today due to flooding.
The incident happened at St. Colmcille’s National School in Inistioge, after the nearby River Nore burst its banks.
It is understood that water began pouring into the school, prompting the evacuation of the building. There were no reports of any injuries.
