The Killarney Festival of Music and Food, which was due to start this Saturday, June 27, has been cancelled.
A spokesperson for the festival said that “We are devastated that the festival has been cancelled – we did everything in our power to make it happen this weekend.”
“We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all the festival goers who were planning to attend the event in Killarney and we would like to thank all the local businesses and statutory agencies for their help and support.”
The line-up for the festival included over 70 Irish and international musicians, and was also going to feature a comedy tent and a variety of food and cookery attractions.
Ticket holders are being advised to contact ticketmaste.ie for refunds.
