Boxer Joe Ward has been dramatically beaten in his second round match up in Rio against Carlos Andres Mina from Ecudar.
Ward started well and defended well throughout, but Mina landed more accurate blows and the bout ended in the Ecudar man receiving the split decision.
It now appears like all chances of a boxing medal fall once again on the heroic shoulders of Katie Taylor.
