Labour Party to back motion of no confidence in the Health Minister Simon Harris as they say the Government needs to be held accountable




The Labour Party leader Brendan Howlin has confirmed that he and his party will support the motion of no confidence in the Health Minister Simon Harris.

Speaking on Tuesday, Mr Howlin said that his party is backing the motion as the Government needs to be held accountable for its handling of information in regards to the National Children’s Hospital overrun.

Mr Howlin also said that the situation is very worrying given that Parliament is supposed to be looking out for the people.

The Labour Party’s stance comes as Sinn Féin are expected to submit a motion of no confidence in Mr Harris later today.
