A large number people took to the streets of Dublin this afternoon to protest outside the Hyde & Seek creche on Tolka Road.
The protest which has called for the closure of the the creche comes after a recent RTÉ investigates programme uncovered a number of issues with the standard of care at the creche.
It is understood that a number of demonstraters shared their views and placed a number of signs outside the building in wake of the findings aired on the programme.
The demonstration comes after Gardai confirmed that they were investigating issues raised in the programme.
Meanwhile officals from the Child Family Agency have been summoned to appear before a Joint Oireachtas Committee on Children and Youth Affairs next Wednesday.
