Las Vegas shooting: At least 50 dead and hundreds injured in worst mass shooting incident in US history




At least 50 people are dead and hundreds more injured after a lone gunman opened fire on a crowd gathered for a country music festival in Las Vegas last night.

A lone gunman rained death upon the crowds below, firing automatic weapons from a vantage point in the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Resort hotel.

The shooter was killed when SWAT teams stormed the hotel room where he was firing from.

The suspect has been named as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a ‘local resident’, according to US authorities.

The event is the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
