The eighth and (supposedly) last season of the smash-hit series Game of Thrones will be broadcast simultaneously in North America and Ireland.
This effectively means that dedicated Irish fans of the series will need to stay up until the early hours to watch the premiere, which will air at 2am on Monday, April 15.
For the non-hardcore viewers, they can catch the same episode on Sky Atlantic at 9pm that evening.
