New figures published by the Department of Housing have revealed that there are 459 people in living in Emergency accommodation.
The figures which have been described as encouraging by the Housing Minister Eoin Murphy, there are 173 fewer adults, 286 fewer children living in emergency accommodation.
However despite the drop in numbers figures show that were still 8,876 homeless in the month of May.
