The latest weather forecast points to a very wet St. Patrick’s Day, with some heavy and prolonged showers expected in places.
According to Met Eireann, the weather will remain very changeable over the next few days, with dry and bright periods followed by outbreaks of heavy rain, and daytime temperatures ranging from around 2C-5C in northern areas to 7C-11C across southern regions.
Current indications suggest that the big day is likely to be a wet one too, though daytime temperatures will rise to 15C-16C in some areas.
