According to a latest poll conducted by RTÉ’s Claire Byrne Live and Amárach Research, it is understood that 50% of the Irish public does not support the current industrial action taken by drivers at Dublin Bus drivers.
The poll which asked did you the Irish people support the drivers call for a 15% wage increase, found that 54% of the public didn’t agree with their demands.
Whilst 36% of the public agreed the drivers should get what they asked for, with 10% saying they didn’t know.
The poll comes after the recent announcement that the scheduled 48 hours of work stoppage for Tuesday and Wednesday would not go ahead after both management and union members entered talks yesterday afternoon.
