The UK’s financial outlook is looking more and more grim by the day, after a leaked government document predicted a dire ‘shortage of food and medicine’ across the country if a no-deal Brexit becomes fact.
The document hinted at an ‘Operation Yellowhammer’, which is, or was, a secret compilation of issues that the UK is likely to face if the country crashes out of the EU.
Food, medicines, and fuel have been listed as items that may be in very short supply by Christmas, along with hyper-inflated prices.
Long delays at ports of entry, a hard border between the north and the south of Ireland, and widespread chaos are also a likely result of a no-deal Brexit.
To add to the general no-deal mayhem, the value of the British Pound is forecast to sink to historic lows, possibly bringing the currency into parity, or near parity to the Euro and the US Dollar.
