We have all heard of the saying ‘leave no man behind’, well now it seems the age old saying should be changed to leave no dog behind as four dogs became a viral hit this week after they did something remarkable for their recently departed friend.

In what can only be described as a tear jerking moment, man’s best friend really showed that they are one of the planets most loyal animals after a video in the Chinese city of Lanzhou, central China, captured a moment of pure canine friendship.

The video which has become a viral sensation in recent days has shown how protective our furry little friends are, after four brave dogs remarkably staged a sit in on a public road to guard their deceased friend.

In the much shared video recorded by a passer-by, the confused dogs were determined to look out for their fellow dog by refusing to move from his side after he was unfortunately hit by a car.

Although the dog seen lying in the middle of the road had sadly passed away shortly after the incident, the four remaining dogs unaware of his passing caused traffic to come to a stand still by sitting in the middle of the road until he got up.

However after a long stand off the heroic dogs did eventually move after one kind hearted passer-by stopped to move the deceased dog to the side of the road.

The video which was shared on Webio, China’s equivalent to Twitter, gained millions of shares in a matter of hours with the vast majority of people coming to the same consensus saying man could learn a thing or two by watching it.
