Michael McKillop has successfully defended his 1,500metres crown in Rio today, claiming his fourth Paralympic gold medal in the process and bringing Ireland’s total up to 4!
The Antrim Paralympic legend managed to blitz the competition and defended his magnificent performance in London four years ago.
McKillop now holds gold medals in the 800m and 1,500m from London 2012, and 800m gold from Beijing in 2008.
