The legendary Royle family actor, Ricky Tomlinson stole the show on last night’s Ray D’Arcy show on RTE.
The 77-yr-old legend was interviewed about his time on the show and the sad passing of Caroline Ahern.
D’Arcy invited fans to send messages to the show’s Facebook page and Ricky’s number one fan, Scott Downey sent in a five pound note to his hero.
During the interview, Ray invited Ricky’s fan to site beside him and when he presented “Jim Royale” with the five pound, Ricky exchanged it for a twenty pound note.
A really nice and classy gesture from the Liverpool legend.
