Legendary broadcaster honoured in Limerick city today as bronze sculpture of the star is unveilied




The late legendary broadcaster Terry Wogan was honoured by fans in Limerick city today as hundreds of fans attended a pop up museum that was unveiled to pay tribute to the Limerick born star.

Amongst the event it was also revealed that a bronze sculpture of the former BBC presenter by Rory Breslin will be unveiled in tribute to the lately departed star.

Meanwhile fans of the much loved presenter also brought memorabilia to the event to be displayed in the museum in order for other members of the public to view his achievements.

Wogan who had an almost 60 year career as a respected broadcaster died in January 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.
