
Former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is set to take on an advisory position with the US-based public relations firm Penta Group, which acquired Irish PR firm Hume Brophy in 2022, reports RTE.
Mr. Varadkar will officially begin his role at Penta in April.

“His deep commitment to evidence-based policymaking and strategic leadership aligns seamlessly with Penta’s mission. His experience at the highest levels of government will enhance our ability to provide data-driven advice and solutions to help our clients navigate today’s increasingly complex global environment,” Mr. McDonald added, reports RTE.
A qualified medical doctor, the former Taoiseach has held ministerial roles across several sectors, including Transport, Tourism and Sport; Health; Social Protection; and Enterprise, Trade and Employment, as well as serving as Tánaiste, reports RTE.
The company stated that his extensive policy expertise and strong commitment to evidence-based policymaking will be a significant asset to Penta and its clients.
