Andrew Tate must be shaking in his boots: Harris hits back as war of words go on

Tánaiste Simon Harris has responded to a social media post by Andrew Tate, stating that it “proves his point” about the influence of toxic male figures online, reports The Mirror.

A spokesperson for Mr. Harris said, “The post by Tate last night proves his point,” following Tate’s comments branding the Tánaiste “jealous,” “weak,” and a “scumbag.”

Tate, who is facing serious criminal charges in Romania, lashed out at Mr. Harris after the Tánaiste criticized him and MMA star Conor McGregor in the Dáil and on social media, reports The Mirror.

Last week, Mr. Harris urged schools to show students the new Netflix series Adolescence, which explores online radicalization and male violence.

“These so-called influencers are feeding young men a warped view of what it is to be a man,” Mr. Harris said in the Dáil, reports The Mirror.

“And, let us be clear, the likes of Conor McGregor and Andrew Tate should not be social media influencers. They should be social pariahs,” reports The Mirror.

Tate responded on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, sharing a clip of the Tánaiste’s speech and attacking him in his post.

He said: “Jealous weak men will do anything it takes to stop powerful men regaining control of the systems. Their objective is to destroy all masculinity and continue to lead us to destruction. They hate that Conor and I are the peoples champions and respected. This is revenge of the nerds. Weak men are traitors by nature and can NEVER be trusted. Weaklings like this dipshit invite foreigners to INVADE and RAPE native women,” reports The Mirror.

A spokesman for the Tánaiste told the Irish Mirror that Tate’s comments proved the point he was trying to make.

“The Tánaiste has strong and consistent views on this issue. He has serious concerns around toxic influencers on social media and their impact on young people. The post by Tate last night proves his point,” reports The Mirror.
