Leo Varadkar under pressure for being unprofessional after using the term “piss-take” in front of the world’s press and possible corruption

The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has come under pressure for using the term “piss-take” while addressing an after dinner audience in Capitol Hill in front of President Donald Trump yesterday.

The embarrassing gaff came after Varadkar alluded to a story where businessman Trump rather than President Trump rang him when he was Minister for Tourism and asked was there anything he could do to stop a potential wind farm from being given planning permission near his nearly bought Doonbeg Golf Resort in Co. Clare.

The planning permission didn’t get granted, which is another story in itself, but many social media users aren’t happy that the Prime Minister of Ireland, as he was referred to, used the term “piss-take” when he thought someone was joking him that Donald Trump was waiting on the phone to talk to him.

One social media user said:
“We’ve come a very long way when the Taoiseach of Ireland uses such language in front of the world. It says more about him than it says about us as a nation. Varadkar is a disgrace”.
