Leo Varadkar won’t be happy – #YellowVests movement forces closure of Port Tunnel in both directions

Yellow Vests protesters temporarily closed Dublin’s Port Tunnel today in both directions.

A major protest was held today demanding the government make drastic changes for the benefit of Ireland’s future.

The protest started on the Custom House Quay, as hundreds of protesters towards the East-Link bridge attempting to block traffic there too.

The Port Tunnel was closed for health and safety reasons but has reopened fully and is working in both directions now.

The AA have announced on their twitter page that the Port Tunnel is fully working again and traffic is moving as normal.

No doubt, Leo Varadkar won’t be happy with this but a lot of supporters of the Yellow Vests movement here in Ireland will be absolutely delighted that they’re gathering momentum.
