According to the national forecaster Met Éireann the country is expected to experience severe snow and icy conditions tonight.
The national forecaster says up to 3 centimetres of snow is expected between midnight and 10am tomorrow morning, with Leinster and Ulster experiencing wintry conditions more often than the rest of the country.
A warning has also been issued regarding possible ice patches on the nations roads Tomorrow is expected to have outbreaks of sleet or snow and sunny intervals with scattered showers.
