Met Eireann has said that temperatures might reach 28C on Saturday with glorious sunshine to cover the entire country right up until then.
Today and tomorrow could see some cloud cover but will be dry and very warm days, with temperatures hovering around the low 20s.
The weather will see a significant improvement from Friday onwards, with bright and very warm conditions forecast for Saturday and Sunday, and possibly into the early part of next week.
It’s a long winter, get out and enjoy it while it’s here!
