It appears as though the government have realised that people are genuinely under the pump in relation to the out-of-control cost of living crisis. In return, they’re going to through a few cents around to try and stop unrest.
The Government has confirmed that new cost of living measures will be announced next week.
It is understood that the new package will include universal and targeted measures.
The legislation may need at finance bill to be introduced, according to Taoiseach appointee Leo Varadkar.
