Terminally ill 9-year-old Jacob Thompson has only one wish for Christmas: To get as many cards a possible, from all over the world.
Jacob has Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, and doctors informed his family in early October that the young boy is not likely to survive until the end of this year.
So, his parents decided to fast-forward Christmas for him, so he is going to get a lot of snow, a giant tree, and of course, a visit from Santa.
Jacob has already received over 100 cards from well-wishers, and hopes to receive many more before the end.
