The UK High Court has banned protests against the LGBTQ curriculum being taught at Anderton Park Primary School in Birmingham.
For months the school has been unable to operate normally as some parents withdrew their children and held pickets outside the school.
In passing his judgement and imposing a permanent exclusion zone, which had been provisionally imposed in June, around Anderton Park Mr Justice Warby said that protests had an adverse effect on pupils, residents and staff, leading to 21 teachers being treated for stress.
The protests included mothers proclaiming, “my child, my choice” and fathers roaring slogans at teachers, on a daily basis, at times.
According to the BBC, Lead protestor Shakeel Afsar said he was “bitterly disappointed with the decision of the court”
