Organisers of the Liam Miller tribute match event have confirmed that all 45,000 tickets have been officially sold.
The event which will take place at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Tuesday September 25th, was officially booked out on Tuesday.
The welcome news comes after the GAA agreed to host the event following a meeting last month.
Organisers of the event said they were thrilled that the public came out to support one of Cork’s sporting heroes and the game will be a great tribute to the former Manchester United and Republic of Ireland international.
The match which will see a former Manchester United XI take on a Republic of Ireland/Celtic XI, was organised to pay tribute to Miller who sadly passed away earlier this year following a brief battle with cancer.
