Lidl have confirmed that their stores will be closing early on Sunday for a staff recognition event.
In an announcement the leading supermarket chain said stores nationwide will close at the earlier time of 8pm this Sunday October 18th.
It is understood that the early closure is being to introduced in order to facilitate an online event being held for staff.
The event will pay thanks to all those who worked through the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Lidl say they would appreciate the public’s understanding and have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
