There are some good news for job seekers this morning, as Surmodics has announced the creation of 100 new job in Galway over the next five years, following the acquisition of Creagh Medical in Ballinasloe.
The new jobs are part of a major €7m investment by the company into its Irish operations.
Local minister Denis Naughten has described the expansion as “a major boost for the future of the town”.
