There were joyous scenes in Limerick city recently as a park catered for people with all abilities.
The new Mungret Park, will have a playground designed for children with all abilities along with two kilometres of walk and cycleways.
The playground, which has been constructed by Kompan will also have a special sensory section developed.
The new park which was officially opened by Minister Michael Noonan, was developed by Sophie’s Journey Foundation and received €10,000 funding raised by Cycle 4 Sick Children charity.
