Locals say violent teenager brawl in Cork city on Sunday evening is an escalating problem




Gardai were in attendance to break up a violent brawl that erupted in Cork city on Sunday evening.

The incident happened in the Liam Healy Rd.  area, in the north side of the city, at around 8.30pm on Sunday. At least two men sustained injuries, and one of the men required hospitalisation.

There has been a spike of violent incidents across Cork city and Cobh and Douglas in the county in recent days.

Locals say that the latest brawl is just an escalation in teenage crime.
