More and more people now think that there could be a second lockdown in Ireland or at least provincial lockdowns in various parts of the country.
On Saturday, the Department of Health released the figures of 200 more confirmed cases leading the Taoiseach Micheal Martin to say that the government is now deeply concerned at the new figures and will be monitoring them closer.
Yesterday’s #COVID19 numbers were deeply concerning and this morning I discussed the evolving situation with the Tánaiste, Green Party Leader, Health Minister and acting CMO. The Govt and NPHET will continue to monitor the situation closely.
