The London Bridge attacker has been identified as an individual previously convicted of terrorism charges.
28-year-old Usman Khan, who had been residing in the Staffordshire area, was convicted in 2012 and released from prison under licence in 2018.
Khan stabbed two people to death and injured at least three others before being wrestled to the ground by passers-by. He was then shot dead by police.
British authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
