Retired Kerry footballer Aidan O’Mahony is the surprise winner of the first season of Dancing with the stars.
O’Mahony beat stiff competition from all walks of the Irish “celebrity” spectrum to be crowned the winner.
The 36-yr-old and his partner Valeria Milova beat former Fair City star Aoibhin Garrihy and Red Rock actress Denise McCormack and performed three dances for the grand finale.
He’s a garda and is said to be going back to work on Tuesday.
