Louis Walsh reportedly turns down a massive offer to appear in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! as he favours X Factor return

According to various reports in the UK it is understood that former X Factor favourite Louis Walsh has turned down whopping sum of around £500,000 to appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

Media outlets in the UK say Walsh will not appear in the Australian jungle as he reportedly favours a return to the X Factor, a source close to bosses at ITV claims that chiefs at the channel were prepared to break the bank in order to get the former Boyzone manager in the reality TV series this year. However their plans have been scuppered as X Factor boss Simon Cowell’s is reportedly lining up a comeback for the Irishman as bid to boost falling ratings. The inside source reportedly said: “Louis looked like he was in the wilderness. But now he is one of the most in-demand men in TV. “ITV approached him months ago to do I’m a Celebrity. He turned them down but in recent weeks they have come in again for him with a huge money offer.”

The source went onto say: “He met them to discuss it but now Simon is offering a place back on X Factor it seems unlikely he will be heading to Australia. Simon Cowell has offered Louis a ‘big money deal’. “He can earn a six-figure sum making a comeback on X Factor which doesn’t involve eating bugs or doing any horrible tasks or trials.” It is understood Louis’s return to the show comes after ratings have drastically fallen as the public have failed to take to Louis’s replacement BBC radio DJ Nick Grimshaw.
