Up to 90,000 Dublin commuters are facing disruption once again this morning, as Luas trams remain at their depots.
The long-running dispute has seen 12 days of stoppages so far, including today, with further dates looming in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, a Fine Gael councillor, Paddy Smyth, has proposed that the trams could be fitted with software to remove the need for a human driver.
Such proposal has been deemed ‘obnoxious’ by other parties.
