A ‘major announcement’ on nationwide restrictions is expected within the next hour.
It is understood that the leaders of the motley Government crew (Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar, and Eamon Ryan) met with Dr. Tony Holohan earlier today.
It’s also understood however that the government have rejected Level 5 restrictions and instead will go to Level 3.
