There’s major concern this evening after a 30 year old woman disappeared after a hen party in Carlingford, County Louth last night.
Ruth Maguire was on a hen party from Belfast in the North Louth town when she went missing around 11:30 p.m. last night. The mother of three was part of a very large contingent mostly made up of Belfast ladies who were down for a friend’s hen party.
The last pub that they were in was Taaffe’s Bar and it was near where they were staying for the night. When they went home, they soon realised that Ruth was missing and the alarm was raised.
A bouncer in one of the pubs thinks he heard Ruth say that she was going to make her own way home to Newcastle, but after much esearch today it was revealed that she is missing and she didn’t return to Newcastle. Her partner and three children are said to be extremely worried and that this is exceptionally out of character for the 30 year old woman.
Gardai have appealed for people to share her image and social media in an effort to locate the woman.
